The T.E.D. Anti-Embolism Thigh-High Stocking in the long length is specifically sized for patients whose thigh circumference measures up to 33″ and whose mid-thigh circumference is approximately 25″ (medium). Developed by Covidien / Medtronic, these stockings provide graduated compression to help prevent deep vein thrombosis during periods of reduced mobility such as post-surgical recovery or extended bed rest. The included belt attachment secures the stocking in place throughout the care day, preventing uncomfortable roll-down. The classic white fabric and open inspection toe allow easy clinical monitoring.
