Description
Purilon Gel is an amorphous hydrogel from Coloplast formulated to rehydrate dry, sloughy, or necrotic wound tissue, creating the moist environment that supports the body’s own autolytic debridement process. Applied directly to the wound bed, the gel donates moisture to desiccated tissue, softening necrosis and facilitating its natural separation without mechanical debridement. Its smooth, conforming consistency ensures good contact across uneven surfaces. The 0.5 oz (15 g) presentation provides a controlled, single-use supply suitable for cavity or flat wounds. A secondary dressing is required to retain the gel and maintain occlusion. Each box contains 10 tubes.
