The 17 g Iodosorb Paste sachet by Smith & Nephew is intended for clinicians managing larger or deeper chronic wounds where generous fill volume and effective exudate absorption are priorities. Like all Iodosorb presentations, this paste combines cadexomer iodine with an absorbent base that swells as it takes up exudate, releasing iodine in a controlled fashion to reduce bacterial colonisation and support autolytic debridement. It is appropriate for venous ulcers, pressure injuries, and other exuding wounds under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional.
