The flexible, siliconised PVC shaft conforms gently to the anatomy of the trachea, reducing the mechanical trauma associated with rigid tubes. A disposable colour-coded inner cannula (green) snaps securely into place and can be replaced without disturbing the outer tube, simplifying hygiene maintenance.
