Description

Where a homecare bed has to live in a room that already has furniture, the Delta 1000 helps by making the headboard taller than the footboard and facing both in break- and scratch-resistant wood grain panels. Underneath it is still a working provider’s bed.

Side rails install accurately thanks to labels and colour-coded springs, and the bed satisfies all applicable FDA entrapment guidelines. Head and foot sections are powered; height comes from the high/low shaft, whose rotation is changed at the transition box so the frame pairs with old and new bed ends. Capacity is 450 lb including the occupant, and the bed weighs 163 lb.
