Description
UrgoClean Ag is a sterile, non-woven wound pad that merges two actions in a single dressing: the debridement and exudate-management power of cohesive polyacrylate fibres with the broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity of ionic silver. On contact with wound exudate, the TLC (Lipido-Colloid Technology) silver matrix transitions to a soft gel, gently loosening slough and devitalised tissue while releasing Ag+ ions that target key pathogens — including Staphylococcus aureus, MRSA, Streptococcus pyogenes, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The 6 cm × 6 cm format suits smaller wound beds such as diabetic foot ulcers and venous or pressure ulcers at risk of, or showing signs of, local infection.
