By capturing exhaled heat and moisture and returning it on the next inhalation, the Trach-Vent T helps protect the tracheobronchial mucosa from the drying effects of bypassed upper-airway structures. The integrated 5 mm collar provides a secure, low-profile connection to standard tracheostomy tubes.
