The Covidien Telfa AMD Non-Adherent Pad brings together the atraumatic properties of the trusted Telfa wound contact layer with the broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity of polyhexamethylene biguanide (PHMB). This combination makes it well-suited for wounds at elevated risk of infection or bioburden, such as chronic wounds, post-surgical sites, and wounds in immunocompromised patients. The sterile 3″ x 8″ format provides good coverage for longer wound sites, and the non-adherent construction means dressing changes remain gentle. Supplied in a tray of 50 for institutional use.
