The Mepitel Ag 50 cm x 20 cm sheet is Mölnlycke’s largest format in the Mepitel Ag range, intended for extensive wounds such as large burns, full-limb ulceration, or significant surgical dehiscence. Ionic silver integrated into the Safetac mesh layer provides broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity across the entire dressing surface, reducing bacterial burden without requiring frequent changes. Because the dressing does not adhere to wound tissue, removal causes minimal disruption to fragile new granulation — a practical advantage in settings where patient comfort during dressing changes is a clinical priority.
