Medline Maxorb Extra Rope Dressing is a calcium alginate wound filler in rope form, engineered for the management of deep, tunnelling, or undermined wounds with moderate-to-heavy exudate. On contact with wound fluid, the alginate fibres form a soft, moist gel that conforms to the wound cavity, facilitates autolytic debridement, and maintains an optimal healing environment. The rope format allows precise packing of sinus tracts without leaving fibre residue in the wound bed. Each case contains 20 individual ropes measuring 1 inch × 12 yards.
