Description
Iodosorb Powder harnesses cadexomer iodine — a slow-release iodine complex — to simultaneously absorb exudate, remove slough and debris, and deliver a sustained antiseptic effect at the wound bed. It is indicated for chronic wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure injuries, and diabetic foot ulcers that are infected or at risk of critical colonisation. As the cadexomer beads absorb exudate they swell and gradually release iodine, providing continuous antimicrobial activity between dressing changes. The powder format is particularly useful for cavities and irregularly shaped wound beds where sheet dressings are difficult to apply.
