Constructed entirely from 100% silicone, it is well-suited for patients with latex sensitivities or those requiring longer-term indwelling catheterisation, as silicone resists encrustation and tissue reaction compared to latex alternatives. The 16 Fr diameter accommodates adequate urine drainage, while the 10 cc inflation balloon secures placement in the bladder.
