The silicone contact layer is designed to minimise trauma and pain on removal, making it an appropriate choice for fragile or sensitive peri-wound skin. The film backing provides a bacterial barrier while allowing moisture vapour to escape, reducing the risk of maceration. Sold in a box of 10 sterile dressings.
