DuoDerm HydroActive Gel from Convatec is a sterile, amorphous hydrogel supplied in a convenient 30 g tube. It is formulated to donate moisture to dry, necrotic, or sloughy wounds, facilitating autolytic debridement by softening and loosening devitalised tissue so the body can clear it naturally. Compatible with a wide range of secondary dressings, the gel is particularly well suited to pressure injuries, leg ulcers, and dry surgical wounds where rehydration of the wound bed is the primary therapeutic goal.
