Description
A reclining wheelchair for someone who cannot tolerate sitting upright for long stretches and needs to change position without transferring out of the chair. The hydraulic mechanism reclines infinitely to as much as 180°, and a headrest extension with a cushioned head immobiliser is standard.
The vinyl upholstery is the practical reason facilities specify this version — it wipes clean and stays light. The steel frame carries an 18″ (W) x 16″ (D) seat at 20.5″ from the floor, supports 300 lb, and comes with swing-away elevating legrests and metal footplates. Rear wheels are set back on the frame and rear anti-tippers are fitted as standard.
