Description

An overlay rather than a replacement: the Med-Aire 5″ lies on top of an existing foam or innerspring mattress and adds 17 individual 5″ air cells running alternating pressure and low air loss together. It is the option when the bed is fine and only the surface needs to change.

The control unit alternates on 10-minute cycles or holds static, with adjustable patient weight settings for immersion, and the three head-end cells stay static as a pillow. Rated to 350 lb, with a fluid-resistant nylon cover and a CPR valve for rapid deflation.
