Description

Not every pressure redistribution surface needs to be plugged in. The Balanced Aire is a reactive mattress replacement whose self-adjusting air and foam cells respond to body weight on their own — and if needs change, adding an alternating pressure pump (14005E or BA9600-PUMP) turns the same mattress into a powered system.

Eight non-circular cylinders resist rolling and gapping, the heel section slopes to move pressure off vulnerable heels, and the foam and cover are antimicrobial, antifungal and latex free. Used with a power source it runs a five-minute cycle at 4 LPM. Warranty is five years limited on the mattress and one year on the control unit.
