Cutimed Sorbact Hydroactive B is a clinically established antimicrobial dressing from BSN Medical, designed to address bioburden in chronic and hard-to-heal wounds. The dressing’s DACC-coated hydrogel core uses a purely physical binding mechanism — bacteria and fungi adhere to the hydrophobic fibres and are lifted away from the wound bed when the dressing is removed. An integrated adhesive border keeps the dressing in position during wear, while the hydrogel layer maintains the moisture balance needed to encourage natural tissue repair. Each sterile dressing is individually packaged for safe, convenient use in both clinical and home-care settings.
