The 3-inch by 2-inch format is well suited to smaller post-surgical wounds, lacerations, IV and catheter sites, and low-to-moderate exuding wounds. Because the absorbent layer and retention border are combined, it reduces the number of separate products required at the bedside and simplifies dressing change procedures.
