PolyMem WIC Rope with Silver addresses this by delivering the multifunctional PolyMem foam in a flexible 0.4″ x 14″ rope format impregnated with ionic silver. When placed in the wound space, the rope conforms to the cavity, absorbs exudate, and releases silver continuously to help reduce the bacterial load. Gentle, atraumatic removal minimises pain at dressing changes — an important consideration for patients with deep or sensitive wounds. Supplied as a case of 2 boxes, 6 ropes per box.
