The rope construction enables loose, non-constrictive packing that maximises dressing-to-wound contact. Ionic silver is released as wound exudate is absorbed, providing targeted antimicrobial activity throughout the wound depth, while the resulting alginate gel preserves moisture balance and facilitates gentle, trauma-free removal.
