The dressing’s superabsorbent multilayer core captures and locks in large amounts of fluid, reducing the frequency of changes and the risk of periwound maceration. As a non-adhesive product, it is secured with a secondary bandage or fixation film, making it well suited to wounds on anatomical sites where skin is fragile or frequently stressed.
