Its soft silicone border adheres dependably to peri-wound skin across a wide surface area, yet releases cleanly without causing the pain and skin damage associated with stronger adhesives. The substantial Biatain foam core handles significant exudate volumes, locking moisture away from the wound surface and surrounding tissue. This large-format dressing is particularly useful in managing stage III–IV pressure injuries, large venous ulcers, or extensive post-surgical sites.
