Description
Biatain Alginate (2in x 2in / 5cm x 5cm) from Coloplast is a calcium alginate wound dressing indicated for moderate-to-heavily exuding wounds, including venous ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, pressure injuries, and donor sites. When in contact with wound exudate, the alginate fibres convert to a soft, conforming gel that maintains a moist healing environment and supports the body’s natural debridement process. The small 5cm x 5cm pad size is well suited to compact wounds or as a cavity filler when cut to shape; it is provided in a generous box of thirty for facilities with high dressing-change volume.
