The Aquacel Foam Adhesive Dressing in the 17.5 cm x 17.5 cm size extends the benefits of Convatec’s dual-layer Hydrofiber-plus-foam platform to larger wound areas. It is particularly suited to voluminous pressure injuries, wide surgical wounds, and lower-extremity ulcers with heavier drainage where a smaller dressing would require more-frequent changes. The Hydrofiber wound contact layer gels on contact with exudate, isolating it within the dressing while the foam superabsorbent layer handles the volume, and the integrated adhesive border anchors the dressing without additional fixation products.
