Description
The AeroChamber is a valved holding chamber (spacer) used in conjunction with a metered-dose inhaler (MDI) to optimize delivery of respiratory medications directly to the lungs. By allowing the aerosol to slow and disperse inside the chamber, it reduces the amount of medication deposited in the mouth and throat, improving therapeutic effectiveness. It is widely recommended for patients of all ages who use corticosteroid or bronchodilator inhalers, including those who have difficulty coordinating a simultaneous press-and-breathe technique. The chamber is compatible with most standard MDI mouthpieces.
