Smith & Nephew’s nanocrystalline silver coating sustains broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity for up to three days, reducing the frequency of cavity dressing changes and the procedural burden on both patient and clinician. The long, flexible strip can be loosely packed to facilitate drainage without causing trauma on removal.
