The Genairex Securi-T Closed Pouch is a closed-end ostomy pouch — used and discarded as a single unit rather than drained. Most appropriate for individuals with a sigmoid colostomy or anyone whose output is formed enough to come at predictable times of day, typically after meals or first thing in the morning.
Closed pouches keep the daily routine simple: no drainage tap to operate, no opening to clip closed. When the pouch is used, it goes in the trash and a fresh one goes on the barrier. The integrated charcoal filter releases gas slowly while neutralizing odour, reducing ballooning through the day.
