Closed-end (closed) ostomy pouches are disposable — you wear them until full, then discard and replace. Best for formed output (most colostomy users). Available in one-piece and two-piece formats with filters to vent gas. Covered by ADP, AADL, NIHB, Veterans Affairs and private insurance.
