Long term care rooms wear out overbed tables quickly, which is why this one is built around a pneumatic cylinder and a stable U base rather than a wobbling telescopic post. Any height between 27″ and 42″ is available without steps, and the top holds up to 100 lb.
Practical details do the rest: a spill-containing urethane lip, two removable cup holders, a channel between them for small items, hand grips on both sides and 2″ casters. The base measures 18″ by 32″.
