Description
JOBST UlcerCare in Beige: knee-high, 40 mmHg graduated compression, right zipper.
JOBST UlcerCare is a 2-in-1 compression system designed to effectively manage venous leg ulcers. It features a liner to hold the wound dressing in place and an outer stocking with or without a zipper to deliver a graduated compression with a nominal compression of 40 mmHg* at the ankle. The compression system helps to manage pain and discomfort caused by venous leg ulcers, while supporting an active lifestyle. The JOBST UlcerCare garments are less bulky than bandages, so they can be worn conveniently with common footcare.
The two components of the JOBST UlcerCare 2-in-1 system include:
- JOBST UlcerCare Liners – made from soft textiles that makes it easy to don the outer stocking. They help to hold wound dressings in place and can be worn for up to 24 hours a day. The breathable material and integrated heel and toe provide comfort.
- JOBST UlcerCare Outer Stocking—This stocking is worn over the JOBST UlcerCare Liner and is available in beige and black, with an optional zipper option. It is specially designed to facilitate the change of wound dressings and support self-management.
*The nominal compression for an average ankle size.

How to put them on
1. Pull the Compression Liner onto the foot, aligning the heel of the Liner with the heel of the foot.
2. Gently pull the Compression Liner up the leg, taking special care to ease it over wound dressing.
3. Pull it upwards to the knee. Do not roll down or fold the top of the stocking.
4. Smooth any wrinkles and adjust the heel and toe of the Compression Liner for comfort.
To apply the JOBST UlcerCare Medical Compression Stocking (without zipper):
1. Apply the Compression Liner as instructed above.
2. Starting with the garment inside out, tuck the foot portion inside up to the heel and hold it with both hands, seam facing down.
3. Stretch your garment as wide as possible and pull it onto your foot in one motion. Place the heel pocket over the back of your heel.
4. Take hold of the fabric just past your toes always at the sides, never the seams.
5. Pull it up over your foot past the ankle. It should now be right side out.
6. Adjust the garment so that the heel is in place. Adjust the toe area for comfort by pulling your garment toward your toes and releasing it.
7. Now work it all the way to the knee about 2″ (5cm) at a time, smoothing the creases as you go.
8. Adjust any wrinkles or uncomfortable spots by gently pulling the fabric until the pressure is even.
To apply the JOBST UlcerCare Medical Compression Stocking (with zipper):
1. Open the zipper completely.
2. Apply the Compression Liner as instructed above.
3. Point your toes and slip your foot into the foot area.
4. Place your thumb between the zipper and your leg to protect your skin.
5. Zip it closed, keeping the elastic backing between your skin and the zipper.
6. Adjust any wrinkles or uncomfortable spots by gently pulling the fabric until the pressure is even.
Compression of 20-30 mmHg and above is medical-grade. Ask your healthcare professional which compression level is right for you.
