Description
Iodosorb Ointment by Smith & Nephew is a cadexomer iodine-based topical preparation that provides both antimicrobial action and autolytic debridement in a single product. As the ointment absorbs wound exudate, iodine is released in a controlled, sustained manner, reducing bacterial load while the cadexomer beads simultaneously lift and remove slough and debris from the wound bed. It is widely used for managing chronic wounds such as leg ulcers and pressure injuries where both infection and necrotic tissue impede healing. Each box contains four 10 g tubes.
