Mepitel Ag is a soft silicone wound contact layer from Mölnlycke designed for use on a wide range of acute and chronic wounds that are at risk of infection or already infected. The 5 cm x 7.5 cm size suits smaller wounds including surgical sites, skin tears, and partial-thickness burns. Safetac technology ensures the dressing adheres gently to surrounding skin while staying non-adherent to the wound surface itself, minimising pain and trauma at dressing changes. Ionic silver provides sustained broad-spectrum antimicrobial action throughout the wear period.
