Description

Promogran Protease Modulating Matrix is a sterile, freeze-dried matrix composed of oxidised regenerated cellulose (ORC) and collagen. At 28 cm2, this smaller format is designed for chronic wounds such as venous leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, and pressure injuries where elevated protease activity impairs healing. On contact with wound exudate, the matrix forms a biodegradable gel that binds and inactivates destructive matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) and elastase, helping to restore a wound environment more conducive to tissue repair.
