Description
Surgifoam Absorbable Gelatin Sponge is a sterile, porcine-derived gelatin sponge used as a surgical haemostat to control bleeding from capillaries and small vessels in operative and clinical settings. Measuring 6 cm long, 2 cm wide, and 7 mm thick, each sponge can be cut to the required size and applied dry or moistened to the bleeding site. Once placed, Surgifoam promotes haemostasis through a mechanical effect and is gradually absorbed by the body, eliminating the need for retrieval. Packaged as 12 individual sterile units per box.
