Don’t see your insurer or program? Submit the form below — the list above covers most Canadian plans but we regularly bill others.

How Direct Billing Works

  1. You submit the form with your insurance details.
  2. We verify coverage and confirm what’s reimbursable.
  3. You approve and order — we send you the invoice and list of eligible products.
  4. We bill your insurer directly (where the plan allows Assignment of Benefits) and ship your order.
  5. You pay only the portion your insurer doesn’t cover, if any.

What You’ll Need

  • Insurer name and policy / contract / account number
  • Cardholder information (if different from the patient)
  • A prescription from a licensed healthcare provider (for most medical devices)
  • Signed Assignment of Benefits form for direct billing (we’ll send it to you after verifying coverage)

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a cost to check my coverage?

No. Submitting the form is free and there’s no obligation to order.

How long does verification take?

Most private insurers respond within one to three business days. Provincial and federal programs can take longer depending on the program.

Do I need a prescription?

Most insurers require a prescription for catheters, ostomy supplies, wheelchairs and similar medical devices. We’ll tell you exactly what’s needed after we verify your plan.

Can I use more than one benefit?

Often yes. If you have provincial or federal coverage plus private insurance, we’ll coordinate so your out-of-pocket cost is as low as possible.

I’m in Quebec — do you bill SAAQ / CNESST / RAMQ?

Yes. We work with SAAQ (auto insurance), CNESST (workplace injury), IVAC (crime victims) and RAMQ for covered supplies.

I’m a veteran — is my equipment covered?

Veterans Affairs Canada (administered through Medavie Blue Cross) covers a wide range of medical supplies for eligible veterans. Submit the form with your VAC client number and we’ll confirm.
