Description
The Bard Foley Catheters, Uncoated, Silicone, 2-way is an indwelling urinary catheter for long-term drainage. Foley catheters are placed by a healthcare professional and held in place by an inflated balloon at the bladder neck. They drain continuously into a leg or night bag through a connected tubing system.
Silicone construction is the standard for long-term indwelling use (weeks at a time) — silicone resists encrustation better than latex and is safe for individuals with latex allergy.
Two-way design — one channel for urine drainage, one for balloon inflation. Standard configuration for routine catheterization.

- French size (FR) refers to outer catheter diameter — your healthcare provider determines appropriate size based on anatomy.
- Balloon volume (in cc/mL) must match the inflation amount specified on the package — over-inflation can rupture the balloon and create complications.
- Foley catheter placement requires sterile technique — kits include the necessary insertion supplies; consult your provider if you’re new to self-catheterization.
