Description

Delivering and setting up a homecare bed is a two-person job more often than it needs to be. The Delta 1000’s foot section weighs 50% less than a conventional one, and the self-contained motor can be installed or removed with the patient still in the bed.

As a semi-electric bed the head and foot sections are powered, while height is handled by the high/low shaft, which stays with the bed once installed. The frame accepts Drive’s bed ends and most other manufacturers’, the wood grain panels resist breaking and scratching, and capacity is 450 lb including the occupant. Bed, side rails and mattress were safety-tested by SGS.
