Description
Pressure injuries build where skin stays hot, damp and loaded in one place for hours, and this Med-Aire Edge system replaces the mattress outright to work on all three. Twenty individual 5″ air cells alternate pressure while low air loss moves air through the surface for micro-climate control.
The digital control unit on the 14360-P runs four selectable cycle times (10, 15, 20 and 25 minutes) with comfort settings by patient weight, and an 8″ firm foam perimeter gives a stable edge for getting in and out of bed. The surface measures 36″ by 80″ and is rated to 450 lb.
