Description
UrgoTul Ag/Silver is a flexible, non-adherent wound contact layer that combines the moist wound-healing properties of Urgo Medical’s TLC (Lipido-Colloid) matrix with the sustained antimicrobial activity of silver sulfate. The conformable polyester mesh is impregnated with fatty substances, hydrocolloid particles, and silver salts; upon contact with wound exudate the matrix forms a cohesive gel, releasing bactericidal Ag+ ions that provide broad-spectrum coverage for up to 7 days. The 20 cm × 40 cm size accommodates extensive wound surfaces such as large venous ulcers, post-surgical wounds, or burns where full coverage and easy adaptability are essential.
