Description
Jelonet is a classic low-adherent paraffin-gauze dressing from Smith & Nephew, trusted in clinical practice for decades. The open-weave cotton fabric is lightly impregnated with white soft paraffin, allowing wound exudate to drain freely while minimising trauma and pain at dressing changes. It is well suited to superficial and partial-thickness burns, donor sites, skin grafts, lacerations, and abrasions where maintaining a moist wound environment is essential.
Key Features
- Low-adherent paraffin-gauze construction reduces pain and tissue disruption on removal
- Open weave permits exudate to pass through to a secondary absorbent dressing
- Soft, conformable fabric adapts to irregular wound contours
- Individually wrapped sterile dressings supplied in a convenient 100-dressing box
