Its natural calcium alginate fibres rapidly absorb exudate and form a cohesive, moist gel layer that keeps the wound environment conducive to healing while protecting granulation tissue. This size is commonly used for venous leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, and post-operative wounds producing significant drainage.
