The 40 cm x 40 cm Acticoat Antimicrobial Barrier Dressing represents the most expansive format in Smith & Nephew’s Acticoat range, built for major burn injuries and extensive wound areas requiring maximum surface coverage in a single piece. By eliminating the need to piece together multiple smaller dressings over a large wound, it simplifies application and reduces the risk of gaps in antimicrobial coverage. Nanocrystalline silver within the dressing structure provides sustained broad-spectrum activity for up to three days, actively managing the bacterial burden during the acute phase of wound care. Each box contains 6 dressings, appropriate for burn centres and specialist wound care units.
