Its Safetac® silicone perimeter adheres securely to surrounding intact skin, reducing the risk of slippage during patient movement, while the interior open-cell foam transfers exudate upward rather than allowing it to collect against the wound surface. This mechanism reduces maceration and creates a stable environment for tissue regeneration.
