Mepilex Transfer is a distinct product within the Mepilex family, designed not as a standalone absorbent dressing but as a wound contact layer that channels exudate through its structure into a secondary absorbent pad or compression bandage. The 20 cm x 50 cm format makes it especially useful in lower-limb wound management under multi-layer compression systems, or wherever a large-format, non-adherent contact layer is required. Its Safetac® silicone surface adheres gently to intact periwound skin, sealing the edges while remaining completely non-traumatic to the wound bed itself.
