The Mepilex 20 cm x 50 cm sheet is the largest standard format in the Mepilex foam dressing family, making it practical for very large wounds or situations where the clinician needs to trim the dressing to a custom shape without sacrificing performance. Its construction mirrors the smaller formats: a Safetac® silicone wound contact surface, an absorbent polyurethane foam middle layer, and a vapour-permeable outer film. This combination effectively manages exudate while maintaining the moist wound environment that promotes healing.
