Mepitel Ag from Mölnlycke combines the clinically proven Safetac soft-silicone interface with ionic silver to address infection while minimising wound-bed disruption. The 7.5 cm x 10 cm format covers a range of moderate-sized wounds including venous leg ulcers, pressure injuries, and post-operative wounds where microbial management is a priority. Because the wound-facing surface does not adhere to delicate granulating tissue, dressing changes are significantly less painful than with traditional contact layers. The dressing can be cut to fit without losing its structural integrity or antimicrobial function.
