Mesalt is a highly absorbent non-woven dressing saturated with sodium chloride crystals, designed to manage infected or heavily exuding wounds that require active cleansing and debridement. The 2 cm x 100 cm ribbon format is ideal for packing sinus tracts, fistulas, undermined pressure injuries, and deep cavity wounds where thorough, layer-by-layer contact is needed. As the dressing absorbs wound fluid, the sodium chloride creates a hypertonic environment that draws bacteria and devitalised tissue toward the wound surface, supporting natural wound cleansing.
