Its sacrum-specific shape conforms closely to the natural curvature of the lower back, reducing shear and friction forces that contribute to skin breakdown in bed-bound and wheelchair-using patients. The Safetac technology silicone adhesive allows repositioning and removal without damaging fragile skin or disturbing the wound bed.
