The Safetac soft-silicone adhesive ensures the dressing stays anchored without damaging the delicate surrounding skin — an especially important attribute in elderly patients or those on systemic corticosteroids. The foam absorptive core wicks and retains exudate, maintaining a balanced moist environment conducive to wound healing.
